Worth knowing

For a crib it goes under the fitted sheet, taut, with nothing loose. Federal safe sleep guidance describes a firm flat surface covered only with a fitted sheet, and slack fabric has no place in that.

Washing it

Wash
Warm machine wash, gentle or normal cycle. No bleach, no fabric softener.
Dry
Tumble dry low, or air dry flat. A hot dryer is what kills a waterproof layer.
Iron
Never. Heat takes the membrane out.
