Padded Protectors

A plain protector adds no thickness. These add a quilted face, so they do two jobs at once: they take the spill and they put something soft between you and a mattress that has stopped being kind.

Read this as a pad first. The quilting adds loft, loft holds warmth, and a hot sleeper will feel it. If you already sleep warm, the thin fitted protectors two departments up will suit you better than anything here.
